Born & raised in Indiana, Sarah has only recently returned to her hometown after living all over the country with her husband and two dogs. They chose to live in the village for the community feel often describing it as “Pleasantville”. Although busy with travel and responsibilities in line with her career in the biotech industry, Sarah is thrilled to have the chance to give back to her community as a first-time member of the board through the role of Environmental Chair. Sarah always looks forward to those summer Saturdays when the day begins at the Zionsville Farmers Market. She believes locally grown food and homemade products are just… better.

Born and raised in New York, Patti came to Indiana to attend IU and never left. She raised her boys in Brownsburg where she was a library board member for over 10 years, including being the president and treasurer. She moved to the Village as an empty nester with her husband John and 2 dogs in 2022 and it has been everything she had hoped it would be. She spent the first summer in Zionsville attending the market every week and volunteering once a month. When the treasurer position on the board opened up it seemed a perfect fit with her finance background to support an organization that she finds so special. She says she never shops in the grocery store produce section during market season and encourages everyone to come out and enjoy what the market has to offer.

Angie has lived all her adult life with her husband Dan in the Zionsville area, raising two sons. She has a passion for healthy cooking from scratch, using fresh ingredients. Four years ago Angie along with a high school friend Julie, opened Zionsville Olive Oil Gallery.

Krristin grew up on the East Coast, but moved to Indiana 5 years ago to get her Master's degree in Special Education. In addition to working as the Market Manager, she works as an elementary special education teacher. Kristin lives in the Village with her husband, son, and chocolate Lab. She loves the Zionsville Farmers Market because she loves getting to know the local farmers and making fresh produce accessible to her community. Kristin started out with the Market as a volunteer and enjoys managing the logistics of growing our amazing market.

Before happily "retiring" in 2013, Kathy Scales Brown was a recruiter/owner of a WBE-certified staffing agency in downtown Indianapolis serving clients in 17 states. On occasion, she accompanied husband David as he represented Zionsville at meetings and events locally and throughout Indiana as a 12-year Town Council member. They are long-time entrepreneurs who live in the Village. Kathy has served on the boards of the Village Residents' Association, Sullivan-Munce Cultural Center, Zionsville Cultural District, Zionsville Chamber of Commerce and is currently serving a 2nd term on the Zionsville Farmers' Market board. She visits farmers' markets around the world as they travel because of the opportunity given to meet those who are personally growing our food or creating specialty food products, often receiving invitations to visit their farms or kitchens. And because everyone has a story . . . she goes.

Suzette's is part of a military family that moved to Zionsville in 2006. Zionsville is where she had the opportunity to lay down roots, plant a garden and has been hooked ever since! She loves the Zionsville Farmers Market. It is a great place for families to get their fresh produce, meet their local farmers, and meet up with other families in the community.

Vicki Bower joined the market board in 2019 after volunteering for several summers. She grew up in Zionsville and is a fourth-generation Zionsville family. In addition to volunteering as a farmers market board member, as the Community Service Chairman, she has also volunteered for Morning Dove Therapeutic Riding Center & The Zionsville Food Pantry. Vicki has worked for Edward Jones Investments as a Sr Branch Administrator for 14 years and is the Mentor Coordinator for her Region. She loves being involved with The Farmers Market because she is an avid gardener herself and loves connecting with the community.

Alysia Diffendal has been the Secretary of the Board since January 2019. She and her family live just steps from the market on West Hawthorne Street, and her two children frequent the event multiple times each Saturday. Alysia is the Director of Engineering & Technology for Corteva Agriscience, a company that is dedicated to helping our agricultural communities thrive. Alysia loves the Zionsville Farmer’s Market because it represents all that is great about the Zionsville community – it’s a gathering place for friends and neighbors, an educational opportunity for our children, and a celebration of our local famers.

Danielle Tucker has been a board member since late 2019. She has lived in Zionsville since 2009 and has been an avid market-goer since that time. She loves that she can walk to the market to load her reusable bags with local, fresh produce while also getting the chance to indulge in a fun treat from one of the prepared food vendors. Volunteering with the market allows her to support the community, meet new people, and catch up with neighbors. When not at the market, Danielle mostly spends her time working and driving her kids to and from their activities.
